GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS:  President's Message: Welcome to the 61th Year of the  Gleneagles Men's Club. I look forward to another great year of Competitive Golf and unsurpassed friendship of our GMC Members.

Secretary's Message:     The GMC policy change for all 2 & 4 Man DRAW TOURNAMENTS: Any member who signs on to a 2 or 4 Man Draw tournament, will be responsible, to pay the full tournament fee, should he cancel from the tournament after the teams are drawn. Only exception is a varifiable medical emergency.

NOTICE: GMC Local Rule 14 states, where, TEAM & Individual tournaments are simultaneously played, the team scorecard must be signed by 1 player of the Team, while the individual scoring cards, must have the players signature and one signature of another member from that group.

Also please note that New Members must play with a regular member when playing, to get 5 rounds in, to qualify for Tournament play.

Other Notes:REMEMBER THERE ARE NO PICK UPS IN ANY GMC TOURNAMENT EVENT. CDGA Handicaps---Last year some members were unable to enter tournaments at other courses because they did not have a CDGA handicap.  The GMC handicap is not accepted for some events.  You must sign up with the CDGA through our Pro Shop.  Last year the cost was $20.  If you plan on any "Outside" tournaments, sign up in the Pro Shop. 

QUALIFYING FOR MAJOR TOURNAMENTS: All Major Tournaments* need 20 rounds on the Handicap Sheet...

The Match Play Championship* () requires at least ten rounds from Opening Day 2011 thru May , 2012.

The 2 Man Glencutta* (July ) needs 7 rounds in 2012 by July , 2012;

The Medal  Play Championship*, August th, needs 10 rounds in 2012 by August st.

The 4 Man Glencutta*, Saturday, September  th, needs 12 rounds by  September th in 2012.

The Longest Day* is scheduled for June th. No Minimum Rounds needed, other than having 20 rounds on the board.

New Members cannot qualify for these major tournaments, but may play in the  Optional Tournaments of the Day during a Major Tournament.
